Load Scenario: To modify or delete a scenario, including loading a new version of an existing file, select the scenario from the dropdown
Delete Scenario: Clean up your scenario files and folders by loading a scenario and clicking Delete to remove it
New Scenario: Clears all the input fields
Input Files:
Select the input files required for your simulation. If you have loaded an existing scenario, the input files will be pre-populated. Replacing a file will create a new scenario.
Configure Settings:
Simulation Year and Quarter: Determines which trains are included in the simulation
Window Days: The period for which statistics are generated
Simulation Days: Number of days to simulate, with the difference from Window Days being the run-in period
Initial Seed: Seed value for starting the random number sequence to perturbate train entry times
Perturbations: Number of perturbed timetables to generate (default is 30)
Link Splitting: When on, splits signal sections by the "Splitting distance" to emulate virtual block signalling
Auto Curve Speed: Automatically limits train speeds on curves based on track geometry and parameters in the regions file
Timetable Wrap: Creates a wrapped timetable for the Window Days period (overrides Simulation Days)
Save Scenario As: Click "Save As" to save your scenario. You will be prompted for a scenario name. Choose a new name to create a new scenario, or overwrite an existing one by reusing an existing name.
Simulation Management Panel
Run and manage simulations:
Scenario Submission:
Select Scenario: Choose a saved scenario from the dropdown
Validate: Check scenario for errors before running: all scenarios must be validated before attempting resolution
Resolve: Execute the scenario resolution process
Simulation Outputs:
Outputs Folder: Shows the location of results for the selected scenario
Aggregate Results: Calls a folder window to allow selection of perturbation results to be aggregated
Download Results: Calls a folder window to allow selection of results to be downloaded
Console Panel
Monitor simulation progress:
Provides real-time output from Traxim resolver
Shows progress in iterations (conflict resolution attempts), and conflict time (hours)
Error messages if issues occur
Tips
Always validate scenarios before resolving
Check the console panel for real-time feedback
Use meaningful scenario names for easy identification
Download results promptly after simulation completion
š Beta Testing Period - All timetable generation is currently FREE! Production pricing (ā¬0.02 per conflict) will apply after beta.

Manage Agent Tokens
š¤ How Agent Access Works
AI agents like Claude in Cowork can connect to Traxim to create and resolve scenarios on your behalf.
To do this you will need to add the Traxim MCP server. More information on installing and using the MCP server is available on the Traximrail.com website.
When you add Traxim to Claude (via "Add custom connection"), the agent sends you a magic link to authorize access.
Click the link in your email to approve the connection. Once authorized, the agent can:
⢠Create timetable scenarios with your Infrastructure and Speedboards files
⢠Validate and resolve conflicts automatically
⢠Download resolved outputs (CSV, PDF reports)
⢠Manage your scenarios (list, update, delete)
Use this page to view which agents have access and revoke access if needed (e.g., after testing, or if you lose control of your email account).
Create New Agent Token
Generate an API token to allow AI agents (like Claude) to manage your railway timetables.
ā ļø During beta testing, all timetable generation is FREE regardless of mode selected.
~3 medium resolutions/day
Max per resolution (~2,500 conflicts)
~15 resolutions/month

Connect to Claude Desktop
Add Traxim as a custom connector in Claude Desktop - no downloads or installations required!
Step 1: Open Claude Desktop
Launch Claude Desktop on your computer
Step 2: Add Custom Connector
Click the + button under "Connectors"
Select "Install Custom Connector"
Step 3: Enter Connection Details

Step 4: Connect
Click "Connect" or "Save"
Traxim tools will now be available in Claude! š
š” Tip:
Use the Copy buttons above to easily paste values into Claude Desktop. No command line or file editing required!
Connected Agents
Tokens created via magic link authorization. Revoke access if you no longer want an agent to manage your scenarios.
